Security leadership built on service
I've spent more than 20 years in cybersecurity, and I started close to the code. I've secured mission-critical military logistics systems, built application security practices in financial data and insurance, scaled product security through hypergrowth at a major cryptocurrency exchange, and now lead security for a global blockchain ecosystem. Each step taught me how real systems fail and what it takes for teams to ship securely without slowing down.
I lead as a servant leader. I see my job as removing obstacles, giving people the context and trust to make good decisions, and putting their growth ahead of my own credit. The strongest teams I've built had engineers, analysts, and program managers who knew their work mattered and knew their leader was in their corner. That belief is why I spent nine years leading two OWASP chapters, and why I keep investing in mentoring and training.
